‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ preview: The drama around Melissa Gorga, Teresa Giudice
On Sunday night’s “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” you’ll continue to see just how much things have changed from one year to the next. At this time last season, we were talking about how everyone hated Teresa Giudice, and how Caroline Manzo and Jacqueline Laurita were going on and on about constant betrayals.
However, this season is much more about the newcomers seemingly taking front and center when it comes to producing all of the crazy drama. For some more on that, just take a look at the attached synopsis:
“It’s a family affair in New Jersey as Melissa and Joe strive to take their new age garbage business to the next level, and Teresa and Rino embark on plans to expand their family’s restaurant empire. Nicole and Bobby, meanwhile, try to prove Amber wrong with a little PDA, and Rosie introduces her girlfriend to the family. Isolated from the rest of the group, Amber turns to her own family for support, until a phone call from Nicole changes everything.”
You can almost totally tell how new Nicole and Amber are to this franchise, given that the main source of fighting right now is a constant he-said, she-said when it comes to gossip about relationships and other matters. We’ve seen this so many times over the years, and they’re going to have a hard time figuring out how to top some of the others. Melissa Gorga almost seems to be carelessly thrown into the mix.
Meanwhile, we’re about to see more of how one of Joe and Teresa’s daughters wants to be a criminal lawyer. That’s going to be an interesting discussion.
