‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 5 spoilers: Prepare for huge 100th episode

Just in case you were not anxious enough for the upcoming 100th episode of “Hawaii Five-0,” we’ve got another reason now for you to be: Many of the subjects central to the show, from Steve’s lineage to his relationship with Wo Fat, will finally be answered. Given what happened during the end of season 4, it really just feels as though it is about time.

Of course, executive producer Peter Lenkov does not want to dangle too many details in front of you just yet (you always have to keep something back for the episode), but his recent comments on the subject to TVLine were rather telling:

“I’ll tell you this: If there are any lingering questions for people who have been loyally watching the show from the beginning, they’re all going to be answered in the 100th episode … There really will be no more questions, as to, ‘Are [Steve and Wo fat] related?’ and ‘What is Wo Fat’s relationship with Steve’s mother?’ … That’s all going to come to a head and be resolved.”

This episode will be the seventh one of the fifth season, and by the time that this one formally comes to a close, there may be fewer mysteries. With that being said, this is still “Hawaii Five-0.” You’re going to have at least something beyond the traditional case of the week to look forward to.

This new season will be starting up this September, and there will likely be a whole lot to look forward to. In addition to casting a new love interest for McGarrett at some point, you can also anticipate some more event episodes. Whether or not they are similar to the Fan-Built Five-0 remains to be seen.
