‘Teen Wolf’ season 4 star joins new series; is this a bad sign?
Anytime you see a series regular on a show like “Teen Wolf,” which kills regulars off left and right, take a role on a different series, one question very quickly comes to mind: Is their character being killed off?
With that in mind, let’s get to the following story. According to a report from Deadline, JR Bourne (best known for playing the character of Argent) has landed a recurring role on the upcoming Lifetime series “Un-Real” alongside “Hell on Wheels” and “Black Box” alum Siobhan Williams. This show is meant to be a send-up of a dating reality competition show, which sounds like a pretty tremendous idea for humor. Bourne will play the part of an ex-lover and writing partner to Quinn (Constance Zimmer) who used to have a drug habit, and now runs a charter surf company.
For all of those who are concerned about whether or not we’re going to see the end of Argent on the MTV show for sure because if this, remember one key word here: “Recurring.” This means that he will just pop up in some episodes, and given that “Teen Wolf” season 4 had a shorter episode count and that he is not a part of every scene on the show, it is more than feasible that he can tackle both shows. This is a little different in our eyes to the series losing someone like one of the younger actors, and then them landing a permanent role elsewhere … at least for now. That tone may change by the end of the season.
Of course, we are going to have some further news related to “Teen Wolf” as time passes, so stay tuned! You can click here to preview the next new episode, or sign up now to get further news and updates on all we cover via our official newsletter.
