‘The X Factor’ UK spoilers: Robert Pattinson on sister Lizzy auditioning

This is turning out to be quite a big week for “The X Factor” UK, and this is without the show even premiering on ITV yet.

Yesterday, it was first confirmed that AXS TV is going to be airing the show in America for the first time; now, Robert Pattinson is finally speaking out about his big sister Lizzy auditioning this year. Speaking per Grazia Daily at a photo call in Britain for his new film “The Rover,” the former “Twilight” star made it clear that while he may be bold in some respects, he is far from being bold enough to go on a show like this with judges and viewers watching you sing:

“I’m like, so ridiculously proud of her … I would never have the balls to do that, ever, in a million years. I can’t believe she’s done it. So, it’s amazing.”

For the female Pattinson, we imagine that this must be a difficult trade-off. You have to know that the series is going to try to exploit who you are related to, since it is an interesting story that is going to attract some numbers. However, at the same time you may be feeling like your career does need some sort of boost. This show has turned stars into everyone from Leona Lewis to Little Mix to One Direction to Ella Henderson, and she could be the latest to at least make a better living thanks to it. Plus, people will know more of what she is about in time, and not just who she is related to.
