‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 spoilers: Sophie Turner on ‘change’ for Sansa
As we got near the end of “Game of Thrones” season 4, we noticed two key things about Sansa Stark. For one, she became the infamous “Darth Sansa” that we have in the attached photo here. Also, we didn’t see a whole lot of her. After we saw Lysa Aaryn sent through the moondoor, there wasn’t a whole lot else for her to do this time around.
However, this hardly means that the story is over for the onetime-meek member of the Stark clan. Sansa has discovered more of her voice and her power now, which could mean some exciting things for the future. Sophie Turner spoke recently to the Los Angeles Times about this, and while she could not reveal much, and gave at least enough of a tease to have us interested about what could be coming up ahead:
“I can’t reveal much, but there’s a big change for her this season and there’s a few familiar faces around.”
Personally, we just want to see Sansa continue to try to establish some sort of power within this world, and that may mean sticking with Littlefinger for a little while. He obviously has some messed-up feelings for her, and she may be able to use that to her advantage. While he is clearly not a model citizen or a good person, it doesn’t seem like he is even remotely interested in harming her. We’ll just have to see where this story specifically goes from here.
As for who some of these other familiar faces are, that’s what we are excited to figure out. It’s always interesting to see characters interact with people who they either haven’t seen in a while, or ultimately have not seen at all.
