‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Questions for Thea, Diggle, Laurel, and many more

While Oliver Queen may be the star of “Arrow,” one of the many great things about the show is that it is constantly about so much more than just him. You’ve got a robust supporting cast, and many of them all have their own very cool stories to tell.

So what are some of them? Speaking to TV Guide, executive producer Marc Guggenheim gives you greater sense in terms of what you can expect:

“For Thea: Am I Thea Queen or am I Thea Merlyn? With Diggle: Am I sidekick or am I my own man? Felicity: Do I exist outside the lair? Do I exist as something more than just Oliver’s crush object? Lance: If I’m confined to a desk job, am I still a cop?… Laurel: Am I Laurel or am I my sister? Or can I be my sister?”

All of these are interesting questions, mostly because they are all pretty worthy questions. With Laurel, we would assume that this is something that could lead to her being the Black Canary. However, what about everyone else? That is what we’re still trying to figure out for the time being. There is no firm direction we feel for any one of them, mostly because they have all changed so much ever since the days of the pilot. Diggle was never in the comics, and Felicity is certainly playing a different role here than she ever did in the original source material.

The “Arrow” premiere is coming on October 8, but we’ll of course have more great updates along the way.
