‘Suits’ season 4, episode 8 preview: Donna tries to comfort Rachel

Wednesday night’s episode of “Suits” is entitled “Exposure,” and at times for Rachel, it is going to be a very difficult pill to swallow. For the first time in a rather long time, she has to deal with a reality that does not include a relationship with Mike. They are, to use his words, “done” … but it doesn’t feel like the feeling is mutual.

According to a new sneak peek posted over on TVLine, you are going to continue to see Meghan Markle’s character continue to try to fight for Mike to come back. She still loves him, and she also still feels like she needs to let him know that every second of the day if she wants to ultimately get him back.

However, Donna (who she is staying with for the time being) seems to have a very different perspective. She wants her to be as careful as humanly possible in the process, and allow it to take some time. If she really starts to hound Mike with attention or acts desperate to get something out of him, the odds are significantly higher that he is going to bolt in the end and for good.

We’ll just have to see in the end how this goes. We do feel like Mike and Rachel are destined to be together in TV terms, but this is not something that he will be able to get over in a short amount of time. Maybe it would be different had she not held the kiss for as long as she did.
