‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: Chris Harrison on ‘shocking’ premiere event

On Monday night, “Bachelor in Paradise” will officially start airing with new episodes … and it’s also seemingly wasting no time at all getting absolutely insane.

Speaking in a new interview with Zap2It, show host Chris Harrison explained that just within the first few hours of the show you see, odds are that you will witness something so crazy, it’s hard to really know how to describe it:

“Within a week, you will see the most inexplicable, most bizarre thing that’s ever [happened] in 12 years of this franchise.”

How can you not be intrigued after hearing something like that? Granted, this is a show that has been known for hyperbole on at least a few occasions in the past. We’ll just have to judge this for ourselves when it comes on the air.

Also noteworthy in this video is Chris explaining why he specifically will never be the star of his own Bachelor season, and that is simply because it wouldn’t work for him to know everything about production and all that happens behind the scenes. He wouldn’t be able to have the same perspective as someone coming into the franchise without that sort of background. however, he does believe in the process, and he has a body of work that he can look back on for evidence (Ashley and J.P., Sean and Catherine, and of course Trista and Ryan are all good examples of this).
