‘Bones’ season 10: See David Boreanaz, cast smile with skeletons

While the premiere date of “Bones” season 10 is inching ever closer by the day, the reality here still is that we have a little ways to go. That means that we sometimes have to enjoy some of the small things … including a “new” promotional poster.

We saw “new” here because something similar was used in season 9, but since E! News is dubbing this a new cast photo, we’ll just roll with that. You have David Boreanaz, Emily Deschanel, and the rest of the cast all rather happy to be standing next to a skeleton … or quite possibly the remains of someone that’s dead.

The one thing we find kind of interesting here is that Booth is actually at the forefront here, even though it’s Brennan who actually deals with bones more than anyone. That’s just the way that we would swap it out for the purpose of logic, not that these promotional photos are about logic are anything. Given that Booth is technically still in jail at the time the season starts. there is really no room for anything that makes sense in here at all. It’s better to go ahead and accept that.

Still, we’re impressed that the show continues to find new and creative ways to go with this whole “Bones” theme after so many years, given that this is far from the first time that they have used them in promotional artwork. Somehow, they still do not get old.
