‘Bachelor in Paradise’ spoilers: See Ben Scott’s goal for the competition

Remember Ben Scott? He was one of the more controversial “Bachelorette” contestants in recent memory, though that is not saying a whole lot when the past two seasons of the show haven’t had very many guys willing to stir the pot.

To us, the most notable thing about Ben was when he excited the show, he went on some tear that was at first kind of sad, but then turned arrogant quickly when he basically insinuated that he was going to move on very quickly and was ready for Hollywood. We did laugh about it, but it didn’t really endear him to anyone watching at home.

Will the experience for him be different on “Bachelor in Paradise”? That is something that we are interested to see. In the new video below via Entertainment Weekly, Ben certainly has some high hopes that he can turn some things around for himself now. He specifically uses the word “redemption,” which is going to be a difficult thing for him to earn. There haven’t been a ton of guys who have come back on the show and turned around their entire reputation before; when it comes to the women, we’d probably say that Michelle Money was one of the few who managed to. You really need a good edit, but also a number of moments that prove that what you saw the previous time was only a fraction of who you are.
