‘The Bachelorette’ finale spoilers: Josh Murray, Nick Viall, Andi Dorfman, and final rankings
Before you watch Monday night’s season finale for “The Bachelorette,” we still have one last order of business to attend to: Ranking the final two contenders as perfect suitors for Andi Dorfman.
There’s a lot to contend with here in doing this, from their respective journeys on the show to their edit to how they are being portrayed with the media. There’s also of course the rumors and the stories that we’re trying to ignore, given that we prefer to focus more on what ABC gives us officially. With all of this considered, and the ending the the show probably wants us to have, we feel like the needle is pointing in a specific direction.
2. Nick Viall – We’ve never thought that Nick was a bad guy. He’s just a different guy surrounding by more of the “beefcake” personality in that house, and he didn’t really fit in. He also probably responded to adversity at times with either cockiness or grumpiness. The love for Andi is there, and we don’t doubt at all that he would try to make a relationship with her work in the long term.
The three things that work against him here is that there was that crazy physical connection with Andi and Josh from the get-go, the edit has significantly favored Josh, and he’s an easier pick geographically.
1. Josh Murray – How easy is this pick? Josh is basically in Andi’s backyard already, and we’re preparing to vomit the moment someone says “the right man was in her hometown the whole time.” Josh is the type of guy Andi likes, he was well-liked in the house, and while he’s challenged her and production at times, we’ve never felt like there was anything that was really pushing him into territory where he could go home all season long.
