‘The Walking Dead’ season 5: Andrew Lincoln, Michael Cudlitz on intense scenes
“The Walking Dead” has plenty of tricks up his sleeve right now in the fifth season, and some of them are starting to be revealed … mostly in terms of the action, the drama, and of course the stakes that we’re going to be seeing when the show returns.
The first thing that we’ve learned her, per an interview with Scott M. Gimple, Andrew Lincoln, and Michael Cudlitz with TVLine, is that the first six minutes of the new season are particularly insane. How much so? Think along the lines of some relentless action, and some more layers added to the whole story of Terminus. While season 4 starting with Rick trying to adapt his life into the world of farming of all things, season 5 is going to focus in a little bit more on Lincoln’s character going into full-on beast mode, where he will take nothing from anyone.
Meanwhile, Lincoln also claims in the interview to have already done some pretty intense work in some scenes with Cudlitz, and this really allowed the two to develop an instant chemistry and to appreciate one another so much more than they did already. These two characters in Rick and Abraham do have a great incentive to work together for the time being, but remember here that this is a limited timeline. They still in the end have some different goals.
These are two of the characters that we are the most excited to see on the show moving forward in some capacity. The two both have leadership skills, and also have a little bit of an ego. When they clash, it’s sure to be fun.
