‘Longmire’ season 3, episode 9 preview: Look back with Katee Sackhoff before looking forward

There are only two episodes left on “Longmire” season 3, and what we are starting to see now is the time when the rubber starts to really meet the road for the character of Vic. Her personal life has been all over the place so far this year, and it is definitely not moving in the most positive direction ever right now.

Before you get to Monday’s episode, watch the video below via A&E to get a sense from Katee Sackhoff about what is happening with her character, and all of the steps that have led to her marriage dissolving in one way or another the past several weeks. The kidnapping was obviously not something that she could have been prepared for, but her continuing to lean more on Walt for support? That is something that’s a little bit different.

There’s no question on Katee’s part that Vic does love Sean, and is not trying to deliberately destroy the relationship that they have. The problem is just that she doesn’t quite feel like she needs him anymore, and that is a difficult sort of thing to emotionally process and know how to handle. We’re not even trying to say that she has romantic feelings for Longmire, but this is definitely a crossroads point in her life that will almost certainly be resolved fully at some point before season 3 officially comes to a close.

Granted, Monday night’s new episode may also have one other major priority that has to be taken care of: Trying to find the proper way to stop Branch.
