‘Criminal Minds’ season 10: Shemar Moore returns to ‘The Young and the Restless’
As it turns out, Shemar Moore is going to be pretty darn busy in the weeks and months ahead. We know already that the actor is going to remain a part of “Criminal Minds” season 10, and it’s also been confirmed now that he will return to his old stomping grounds on CBS in “The Young and the Restless.”
So how long will Moore be a part of the show? Think along the lines of just two episodes, but that’s still a nice stretch of time for the original actor to play Malcolm. Moore originated the role and won a Daytime Emmy for it, and originally appeared on the show from 1994 until 2002. He later made a brief appearance a couple of years later right before signing on to “Criminal Minds.”
In the end, here is what Moore had to say about signing on:
“I am excited about returning to The Young and the Restless as a special guest … This is where I got my start, and I am looking forward to reuniting with my soap opera family.”
For those curious, it looks as though this role is not going to be making an impact on what happens with “Criminal Minds,” so you can go ahead and stop worry about whether or not he will be forced away from the show for a long period of time. This is more of a treat for longtime fans of “The Young and the Restless” who remember the Malcolm character fondly.
