‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 spoilers: First look at Marilyn Manson, Charlie Hunnam

“Sons of Anarchy” has a lot of story to get through in its final season, but that is not stopping us from getting to see a few more high-profile guest stars.

The most notable new addition is Courtney Love to the series as a woman who could care for one Jax Teller’s kids, but let us not forget about the previously-announced addition of Marilyn Manson. The rocker, in addition to contributing to the show musically, has also booked a part that you can read even more about here. Let’s just say that it will reintroduce prison yet again to the world of the show, which should be very familiar to everyone at this point. (It’s also somewhat traumatic to us, given what happened to Clay there.)

We first saw an image of Manson alongside Charlie Hunnam on his Instagram account (see it below), which was in turn taken from a new issue of Entertainment Weekly. There’s not too much that you can take from it here, save at least for the fact that Manson is not just looking to play himself on the small screen. This should be an interesting part for him to play, and hopefully one that also pays some big dividends. Show creator Kurt Sutter has been wonderful over the years when it comes to finding actors beyond the traditional pool who come in and deliver. Hopefully both Manson and Love when she appears bring everything that we want to the series and then some.

There is no official premiere date yet, but we’re still thinking that either Tuesday, September 9 or the following week on the 16th will be the dates to choose from given past tradition. Buckle up; this final season could end up being the rockiest ride of anything that we have seen on the show yet.
