’24’ season 10: Would Yvonne Strahovski return as Kate Morgan?

We cannot say enough good things about the Kate Morgan character on “24: Live Another Day.” Yvonne Strahovski found herself an incredible role here that was complex, action-packed, and different from her other parts in the past (even if it was still another government employee a la “Chuck”).

So with all this in mind, you have to think that a return appearance as Kate is something that the actress would at least consider … right? Right! Even though boss Howard Gordon already said this week that they are far away from conceiving another “24” season, and are still trying to catch their breath after the end of this one, Strahovski tells Yahoo that given her schedule and the story, she would be open to bringing Kate back into play:

“Look, never say never. You never know, there’s always talk of movies and spin-offs and those kind of things. I’ve been involved in other TV shows where there’s talk as well. Never say never; these things are open to all kinds of possibilities…”

Strahovski is most-likely referring to the fact that there was briefly talk about a Hannah McKay spin-off on “Dexter,” and “Chuck” fans have also long clamored for there to be something to bring Chuck Bartowski and Sarah Walker back into our lives. She’s lucky in a sense to be involved with so many of these iconic series, ironically while all of them are near the end and winding down. (So far, “Dexter” is the only one that didn’t stick the landing as far as the ending goes.)
