‘The Bachelorette’ review: Did Andi Dorfman send home Chris Soules, Nick Viall, or Josh Murray?

Tonight on “The Bachelorette,” we had dates, romance, proclamations of love, and of course fantasy suites. The way that this show tries to dance around what traditionally happens in these suites is hilarious. We’re not presuming anything about what happened with Andi Dorfman specifically, but still.

Really, the entire episode tonight boiled down to just one question: What’s on your list of negotiable things, and what is not? For Andi and Chris Soules both, there is obviously a high priority placed on where the two should live. Chris obviously wants to live in Iowa, and continue his life ahead as a farmer. He’s in his blood, and while he is willing to make concessions, this is still who he is and where he belongs.

At the end of the day, though, this was not enough for Andi. Going out there was a huge risk for her career and it may not have worked out … even if she loved her time there. So for her to turn Chris down and send him home before the fantasy suite was not surprising at all. It was heartbreaking, but still not surprising.

So obviously, the final two this season are Nick Viall and Josh Murray, and the editing has certainly made you want to believe very much in Josh over Nick. We don’t feel like either one of them are terrible guys, but their entire segments reminded us that we’d really prefer if this show was an hour at this point. None of this needed to be two hours so we can watch people make out in the ocean. Heck, this should could’ve almost been half an hour when you boil down to it and consider the insanely long rose ceremony. Now, the “do you accept these rose?” comments mean something more! Grade: C+.
