‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4: Fun and a belated casting update

“Hart of Dixie” fans, you know that you are being called on at this point to be a very patient bunch. There is not going to be any new episodes airing in the fall, and it may be 2015 before we get to take a return to BlueBell unless something particularly shocking happens.

So how can we help to tide you over? We posted earlier this summer about a new character coming to town who was described in many ways as a “perfect man.” He is a doctor, a charmer, a nice guy, and has connections to almost anyone and everyone. Maybe there are some flaws underneath the surface here, but nobody really knows about them.

We’re a little late on reporting this particular casting news, but TVLine claims that Ian Anthony Dale from “Hawaii Five-0” is going to be playing this part on the show. We know that this will be a recurring part, meaning that you will be getting multiple opportunities to get to know this guy better over the episodes that lie ahead.

Hopefully, there will be some other casting announcements made in the coming weeks, given that filming is under way. The interesting thing about this season in particular is that we may get a chance to at least know some of the individual components of much of the season before it premieres, especially for some reason if the schedule prohibits “Hart of Dixie” from returning until the spring. In the end, it’s all going to depend on how well other shows far.e
