‘Real Housewives of New York City’ video: Aviva Drescher losing prosthetic leg goes viral

Despite the fact that it is set in New York City, we do admittedly forget most of the time that “The Real Housewives of New York City” is actually on TV. It’s just not a particularly buzzworthy show most of the time, and while some of the women have their moments of drama, nothing typically happens that is so insane that it’s worth talking about … at least until now.

In what we certain imagine is more than crazy and worthy enough for discussion now, the July 22 episode of this series is going to feature at some point cast member Aviva Drescher supposedly tossing her prosthetic leg during an argument. The video below does not show a whole lot of it near the end, but it does at least let you know that things are going to get heated during an argument while out on the town.

At the end of the day, we simply hope that this is something that is not blown out to such a proportion that we see it promoted two billion times until the episode airs … even though we feel like it will. Bravo likes to milk things for almost everything that they are worth, and given that this series hasn’t had a whole lot of highlights like this, what we have here is a real opportunity to get some attention to the show.

The only thing that we wonder now is why use your prosthetic leg of all things during the argument. Wasn’t there a drink or something else nearby that you could throw?
