‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 5, episode 6 preview: Troian Bellisario and a confrontation

What is going on within the world of “Pretty Little Liars” right now? That is a question that everyone seemingly wants an answer to, even some of the people supposedly “in the know” of a couple of secrets.

One of these said people is none other than Spencer Hastings’ father, who is the subject of this sneak peek scene below. He runs into Spencer by chance while she is back at the house, and is really spending more of her time at the hotel. He informs her that his wife is not answering any of his messages, and of course wants to know why. She tells him that she and her mom know that he and Melissa were not where they claimed to be when Jessica DiLaurentis was killed, and then the scene comes to a close.

Let’s be honest here and say that to us, Spencer’s dad killing someone would actually be a million times more shocking than it would be finding out that he was innocent. How many times have we seen parents suspected of doing terrible things so far? We had Hanna’s mom last season and everything that went on with Detective Wilden, and then we also had that period of time where Aria thought that her dad may have had something to do with Ali disappearing. It’s ultimately shocking just how much family members tend to come up on this show as suspects. (Also shocking? How little of Aria’s family we have seen so far, given that she is going through such a crisis right now when it comes to her emotions after killing Shana.)
