‘Game of Thrones’ season 5: Maisie Williams on Arya’s past, future

Arya -Game of Thrones” season 4 was a fantastic one for Maisie Williams without question. Not only did she finally manage to separate herself from The Hound, she did so in one of the most brutal ways imaginable as she left him bleeding to death. Thanks to this, there is another name off of her list, and she can move forward while aboard this ship to whatever the next phase of her life may bring.

Well if you’re looking for one of the most comprehensive interview experiences with Williams to date, you don’t have to look any further than her chat with HuffPost Live. In it, Williams discusses everything from her work on the show to some of her film gigs elsewhere and a variety of other topics. It’s a pretty informative and lengthy chat, even though you can tell that she is a little under the weather thanks to her voice.

Williams, like the rest of the cast now, is currently in gear-up mode for the upcoming fifth season. Filming for this is going to begin shortly, and it will go everywhere from Spain to Croatia to Iceland and beyond. This is clearly one of the most international shows out there, and not just because of the fact that it has cast members from all walks of life.

As for what we’d like to see From Arya next, we’re feeling like she may need a new mentor who is a little more rational than The Hound. After all, this may be one of the few genuine opportunities that she has to actually start to learn a thing or two about combat, and when to engage.
