‘Longmire’ season 3, episode 7 preview: What happens to Vic?

Just when Walter Longmire starts to think that he is getting closer and closer to figuring out who murdered his wife, another distraction comes up that he absolutely has to attend to. In this case, it is a pretty big one in the capture of one of his most valued team members.

Next week on “Longmire,” Walt is going to have to deal with the fact that Vic has been captured by someone, and he has quite a bit to figure out. Is this someone tied to his wife’s murder looking for more revenge, or something else entirely? The one thing that we do know is that this is going to be yet another hurdle for her and Sean to try to get through (and there have been plenty already this season).

This episode is entitled “Population 25,” which probably doesn’t give you a whole lot of a hint about what could be coming up save for the fact that a very tiny town may be involved. The synopsis below probably isn’t going to be much help either, largely because it is regurgitation of everything that we have said already:

“Vic’s vacation turns deadly after she and Sean are kidnapped following an accident.”

Given that we are at least in the second half of the season at this point, we do expect that we’re building to something big. The question that remains here is just what this “something big” is ultimately going to be. We predict that many twists and turns will come, but given the show’s constantly-uncertain future, you got to give us something on the main story … right?
