‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 5 preview: What’s next for Callie and Wyatt?

Just in case the story with Callie  on “The Fosters” was not intense enough, you had to go ahead and have an episode like tonight happen. This is one that definitely blew the doors open for her and Wyatt, but you have to remember that with actions like these of course come consequences … and plenty of these could be on the way next.

The episode coming up is entitled “Truth Be Told,” which makes a heck of a whole lot of sense right now when you think about everyone that is currently in the process of keeping secrets. While Callie may be one of the names at the forefront of things right now, she is far from the only person in the discussion. You can see everyone who is struggling not only briefly in the promo, but also in text form courtesy of this episode’s synopsis:

“Callie frets about the anxiety her recent decisions have caused Jude. Emma second-guesses her breakup with Jesus, putting him in an awkward position with a new love interest and with Mariana, who becomes unwillingly involved in his dilemma. Stef struggles with her suspicions about Mike and debates moving forward with her investigation into Ana’s disappearance. When Brandon’s bandmates take him on a hike for some “special” inspiration, Brandon opens up to an unexpected confidant about his past transgressions. And Callie’s emotions get the better of her when things get hot and heavy with Wyatt.”

Given that this is only episode 5, there is still plenty of time for things to resolve themselves. We’re not expecting resolution so much as movement in the right direction.
