‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Marcus Grodd, Andi Dorfman, and hometown trouble

Marcus Grodd has emerged as the darkhorse contender out of the final four guys on “The Bachelorette” this season, mostly because he really has not had a whole lot of a story told by the editors. He is a confident guy with strong feelings for Andi Dorfman, and that is mostly it. His story is not exactly fleshed out, especially in comparison to some of the other remaining people in the game.

Lucky for him, he has an opportunity in the hometown date in Dallas in order to try and turn things around when it comes to being a contender. Is that going to work out for him? Based on the synopsis below, the main concern that she has is if he is moving along at a pace that is far too quick for her:

“For her final hometown visit, Andi journeys to Dallas, where Marcus has a special surprise waiting for her upon her arrival. Marcus’ loving and supportive family is anxious for Andi to join them. For her part, Andi is wondering if she will be able to catch up with the deep feelings Marcus has showed her, making it clear that she is the love of his life.”

To us, this doesn’t sound good at all for Marcus. When Andi speaks out about some of the other contenders for her heart right now, whether that be Josh Murray or Nick Viall, she doesn’t ever question where she is with them in terms of pace. Marcus is really the only guy getting that treatment, so unless he shows up and completely knocks this date out of the park, this guy’s going to have a hard time getting past the finale.
