‘Suits’ season 4, episode 4 spoilers: Mike + Louis Litt = ?

We’ve made it pretty clear during our “Suits” coverage now over time that there are few things that we are as frequently entertained by as Louis Litt on “Suits.” The man is just a complete trip from start to finish. The man is aggressively cocky, difficult to work with much of the time, and so ambitious that he’s willing to cut you off to further himself in some way. Maybe part of him changed after that heart attack … but just a part. This is the same conniving character that we’ve known and loved for the entire run.

So seeing him interact with Mike Ross on next week’s “Leveraged” leads us to have a one-word response: Interesting. This is not the sort of interaction we would want right now if we were Mike. The cross-firm battle along with Logan Sanders are causing enormous stress for him: His one-time friendship with Harvey has turned into friction, and the past of Rachel and Logan have formed a variety of issues all their own.

Something that we are very curious about still that has not been completely explored yet this season are whatever after-effects are present between Mike and Louis over the entire fiasco from last season, where Litt did everything in his power to expose Mike for not being a real lawyer. These two characters haven’t gotten a chance to spend a whole lot of time together as of late, and to us that is a die shame. At least for one fleeting moment (and maybe more) in “Leveraged,” this will change.
