‘Halt and Catch Fire’ episode 6 preview: Cameron’s woe in ‘Landfall’

Tonight, AMC’s “Halt and Catch Fire” aired the latest episode that was fittingly titled “Adventure.” We’ll have a little bit more about the events that unfolded a little later, but for now we want to address another significant question: What is going to happen on the show next week?

Let’s try to give you what we know about this episode right now starting off with the basics … including the official synopsis from AMC:

“After having a breakthrough, Cameron is at odds with Gordon; Joe must make a difficult decision.”

What is this, Cameron being upset at someone? Big shocker there! This seems to be a recurring theme for the entire season, since she has constantly rebelled against anyone and everyone. We just hope that there is something coming that allows the character to handle being vulnerable in a way that does not involve her acting out.

Then again, we could say almost everything we just said about Cameron when it comes to Joe. Basically, this is a guy who has been forced to make “difficult decisions” time and time again since he first went to Cardiff. It’s hard to have a whole lot of sympathy for him, go, given the guy is such a massive schemer. He is the entire reason that they are in this situation in the first place. If he hadn’t acted in the way that he has or deceived some of these people in Texas, none of this craziness would have ever transpired. Then again, we also wouldn’t have this show!
