2014 BET Awards: Kenya Moore, Zendaya, Pharrell, more on red carpet
Tonight marks the BET Awards, and a chance for the network to recognize some of the best in music and all entertainment. With that of course comes a red carpet, and with that, a chance to discuss some of the famous men and women who decided to walk it.
Since we are a television news site, we’ll focus this article strictly on the actors, reality personalities, and others who make a living appearing in our favorite medium. There are certainly a whole chorus of other websites that you can go to in order to read up on the movie stars, singers, and rappers.
- “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is taking a week off from airing Kandi Burruss’ wedding this week, and one of her co-stars in Kenya Moore was present here. She was seen specifically in photos with Ne-Yo.
- On the same day that the news came out about her not playing Aaliyah in an upcoming Lifetime documentary, Zendaya sported an outfit that was part business suit (without the standard shirt underneath), and also part jacket. It was definitely unusual, to say the least.
- Pharrell, the latest coach on “The Voice,” turned up. Yes, he is still making that hat work for him to the best of his ability.
- Judge Greg Mathis, who every sick person has seen at least once while staying home from work, turned up.
- Holly Robinson Peete and Tamera Lowery led the parade of classic TV stars turning up for an appearance.
- Keke Palmer, who has done a variety of TV shows and movies, showed that she has definitely grown up following her days in “Akeelah and the Bee.”
