‘Major Crimes’ season 3, episode 4 preview: A deeper look at ‘Letting It Go’

What is coming up next on “Major Crimes”? With a title like “Letting It Go,” you can certainly expect to see a great deal of emotion. Also, you can expect to see a pretty chilling case revolving around Rusty potentially catching his mother in a lie, and the ramifications that go along with that.

To be fair, the preview video below released by TNT is hardly the most revealing in the world. The network is obviously being a little skittish when it comes to how much that they want to give away, and we understand that. They don’t want to ruin a whole lot of what actually happens from here, and that is mostly a symptom of the show’s very format. This is a procedural mystery, after all, and there is only so much that you can spoil.

The one teaser we can give you about the primary case is something that we shared recently in the synopsis: The team is working to solve the murder of an alleged rapist, which is going to be a tricky endeavor since this person is inevitably not someone who is a sympathetic victim.

We have to at least spend a minute or two commenting on this new slogan that TNT is trying out these days, mostly because we are convinced that it may be the most ridiculous one we’ve ever heard. “Boom”? Seriously? That sounds like it would just serve as the slogan for the Michael Bay Network. Then again, TNT does are “The Last Ship” now. Maybe he found a way to stamp that into his contract. (To those who are immune to sarcasm: Yes, this is clearly a joke.)
