‘Teen Wolf’ season 4, episode 2 preview: Tyler Posey and a terrible situation

How in the world can you get someone to suddenly start aging again? Derek has become the Benjamin Button of “Teen Wolf” season 4, and this has in turn left Scott in the very terrible position of trying to figure out how in the world he can help him become the Derek that he knows and cares for.

At least Tyler Posey’s Scott has been able to figure out the cause of the transformation in Kate Argent. He knows that she is the responsible party, but knowing this and this alone is not going to do him anything. He needs to figure out first of all what exactly Kate is now, and how he can use that knowledge to reverse whatever spell she has put on him. Her specific goal was to get him in a position where he would lose an enormous part of himself, and revert back to where he thought of Kate as a nice person who said somewhat-flirty things to him. As a younger kid, this is like being escorted to a buffet of pizza and candy.

For those super-worried about Derek’s fate and that this is a story we could see play out for a while, the only thing we would remind them is that nobody wants to really see Tyler Hoechlin’s character as we know and love him gone forever. Therefore, you have to imagine that at some point, the character is going to be back. That still doesn’t mean, though, that Kate is going to be defeated.
