‘The X Factor’ USA: See an acoustic Alex & Sierra – ‘Scarecrow’ video

So far, this has been the week of Alex & Sierra as far as former “The X Factor” alumni go.

Earlier this week, the duo performed for the first time on “The Today Show” with their new single “Scarecrow,” which they just so happened to also just release onto iTunes. The single has fared pretty well on the sales chart so far, and the next challenge will of course be getting further attention on the radio, and with people who are not familiar with either the show or them. This will be all about the little things, and also the label making sure they find unique ways to get the song and the artists out there.

Now, we at least have another little treat for some of the fans of the two: A new, acoustic performance of “Scarecrow” that should make you love the song as much as you did the first time. It’s simple, and puts the focus squarely on the vocals in additional to the melody. If you haven’t picked up the single yet, maybe this inspires you to? If nothing else, it’s another chance to enjoy some music.

Well, they give you some instructions as to how to make that happen. This is another nice way to get some outreach with the fan following, and also allow them to have a more grassroots fan base in a town out there. Also, you’re using the internet for good!
