NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ season 3 spoilers: How’s a trip to Europe sound?

Hannibal -Are you getting ready for “Hannibal” season 3 to have an international theme to it? Given what we saw in the season 2 finale with Hannibal Lecter’s escape and subsequent plane ride with Bidelia, it is fair to say that Will Graham will need to do some sort of traveling to find him. (We don’t really think of it as a spoiler anymore that Will is still alive. Without him, there’d be a huge hole in the hart of the show.)

Hugh Dancy took a similar philosophy in explaining Will’s travel prospects in a chat with TVLine, and also looked towards what will inevitably be a part of the Hannibal endgame:

“It’s definitely in the cards. I mean, obviously Hannibal’s taken off, and Will is going to be in some way on his trail. So, I do think we’ll be on the road a bit … It’s hardly a spoiler to say that Hannibal ends up incarcerated. It’s just a question of how we get there.”

To us, the greatness of this storyline stems largely from that white space that makes up the unknown. Also, we want to see what happens when you get Will aboard a plane. He is the sort of guy who has already shown a dangerous gamut of emotions, and without any sort of stability, how will he really be able to function?

To an extent, we wonder how we are going to be able to function, given just how long we are going to be waiting for some new “Hannibal” episodes. Filming starts later this summer, and it will begin airing on NBC most likely in the spring of 2015. We’ll have more on that later this year.
