‘Teen Wolf’ season 4, episode 2 spoilers: Scott, Derek, and trouble the rest of the season

After Monday night’s new episode of “Teen Wolf,” MTV was kind enough to lift the veil somewhat on everything that lies ahead this season … and some of it looks to be chaos of the worst kind.

As with every other “supertease” that MTV releases about one of their shows, there is not exactly anything in here that is a massive spoiler … mostly because the focus does not stay on any one thing long enough. Instead, they bounce around to a number of different topics, including such things as Stiles and Malia (polarizing as they may be), Derek in danger, Kate Argent in full were-jaguar form, and a series of bodies lying on the ground. There are also some lighter moments, as well, amplified by all of the action surrounding the school lacrosse team. It may be easy (very easy) at times to forget, but these people are all technically still in school and have responsibilities to take on there from time to time.

The biggest problem that we consistently have after watching these trailers is that MTV does such a good job of them, in between the pacing and giving you just enough of a sneak peek to get you really excited. It is like a trailer to a superhero movie; sometimes you go into it and it manages to exceed all expectations, but other times you sit down and it turns out to be “Spider-Man 3,” where there is all hype and little substance. It is still far too early in season 4 for the full story of “Teen Wolf” this time around to be told.
