‘Glee’ season 6: Lea Michele, Kristin Chenoweth reunite for Hollywood Bowl performance

Lea Michele -

Lea Michele and Kristin Chenoweth have quite a bit in common, at least in that they both have musical theater backgrounds, they both have appeared plenty on “Glee” over the years, and they also have released albums away from the stage and screen.

This weekend, the two teamed up for a very different event, and Kristin was inducted into the Hollywood Bowl’s Hall of Fame following over a decade of memorable performances. Kristin is also extremely well-known for her work int he Broadway show “Wicked,” and there was an appropriateness in her performing “For Good” with Lea. (You can see the video for this below.) While Lea was not in “Wicked,” Idina Menzel plays her mother Shelby Corcoran on “Glee” whenever she has an opportunity to.

This is a great performance, though you probably expected nothing less given the talent that the two ladies have.

You will see Lea return to the set of “Glee” later this summer to begin filming the final season, even though there are still many details that are a little hazy. There is no confirmation right now about how many episodes there will be and who will appear in them, even though we can say now that they will be centered back on the theme of music education that was at the center of the series in the first place. The show looks to be heading back to McKinley High again in a way, albeit a very different one from what they had there in season 5.
