‘The Good Wife’ season 6: Could Denis O’Hare return?

Good Wife -

There are many fantastic things about “The Good Wife,” but one of the biggest ones is that they have managed to assemble such an impressive roster of guest stars over the years. We’re talking here about such people as Nathan Lane, Michael J. Fox, and Carrie Preston who they can go to with stories from time to time, and the will then be able to show up and knock them out of the park.

One of these actors who fills this role in particular is none other than Denis O’Hare, who has appeared in multiple episodes as Judge Charles Abernathy. He was unfortunately absent for the fifth season, but that does not mean that he is moving forward and no longer interested in being a part of the project. As a matter of fact, it seems to be quite the opposite.

Speaking in a new interview with GoldDerby, O’Hare makes it clear that he is very much still hoping for a return to the show for season 6 despite his other commitments (which include “American Horror Story”), and it was only due to scheduling that we didn’t see him in the past year:

“I hope so. They called me twice to come in to do it, but I had a conflict. Then I called them saying ‘I’m free,’ and they said ‘oh no, we can’t fit you in.’ We’re trying to figure it out for next year and I hope I can do at least one or two because I love that cast and crew, and I’m so sorry Josh Charles is gone.”
