’24: Live Another Day’ spoilers: What does the future hold for Jack, Audrey?

Can love still be in the air despite some pretty horrible circumstances? There are many important questions coming on “24: Live Another Day” the rest of the series, and this is one of them to watch out for in particular when  it comes to the Jack and Audrey characters.

To be fair, it’s possible that Kim Raver’s character is not spending a whole lot of time thinking about love right now, given what transpired with President Heller and everyone still reeling from the drama of that. The focus may be instead on Margot Al-Harazi, and continuing to monitor that tense situation and that supposed “promise” that was made in order for Heller to make his sacrifice.

Eventually, though, the subject of Jack and Audrey may come back up, which leads to executive producer Evan Katz saying the following as a part of a new interview with TV Guide:

“Jack’s question when this is all over is, ‘Can he go back with Audrey? Is there a chance for the two of them?’ In Episode 5, it was pretty clear that the two of them still love each other.”

We feel like this could come up again after a time jump, which is supposed to happen at some point during this season. We would just be surprised to see it early, given that the show has so many other issues to address and romance doesn’t seem to be on the docket. (Of course, the one real problem with that is that a “time jump” here is only a matter of hours, which still doesn’t seem like nearly enough of a chance to rekindle an old relationship.)
