ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: Nick Wechsler on Jack’s dilemma

Sometimes in the world of TV drama, characters are forced to make tough decisions, and then have to rely on almost anything and everything that they can in order to justify them. Sometimes, they even opt to rely on their heart.

These are all discussions that Jack Porter is going to have to go over in his head on “Revenge” season 4 as he looks out from a prison cell, and questions so much of what he has done to protect Emily Throne. This is the hardest situation that he has been in, but to an extent, it actually feels like it was one at the time that Jack was more than happy to make. He had a chance to really prove his feelings, even though it doesn’t look like he and his childhood “friend” are going to be together anytime soon.

Jack’s feelings for her are echoed further courtesy of star Nick Wechsler, who said the following to TV Guide when it comes to trying to explain just what his character is thinking about behind bars:

“He’s crazy about [Emily] and wants to see justice be done … His feelings for her will draw him into some morally complex situations.”

Given how quickly Nolan got out of prison recently on the show, we still have a hard time imagining that Jack is going to stay there forever. The show is ultimately just a whole lot less interesting if he cannot operate with the rest of the cast, and the same thing goes for Victoria at the moment within her room at the asylum.
