‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Josh Murray, Andi Dorfman, Nick Viall standings and more

Andi -Given that it has been a good two weeks now since the last episode of “The Bachelorette” aired on ABC, doesn’t now seem like the right time for there to be some sort of refresher on everything that is going to happen.

We’re going to go into our traditional standings for the top five guys here in just a second, but we’ll start by sharing just the basic facts that we know to be true for Monday’s episode in Versailles, France.

  • The one-on-one dates with Andi Dorfman are going to feature Brian Osbourne and Josh Murray, with Brian possibly getting the short end of the stick here. He has to attend a movie (read more here), while Josh gets something that seems to be more scenic and romantic.
  • The group date, meanwhile, is even less romantic. It involves mimes. Also, there will be some drama that unfolds during it.
  • At some point, both Nick Viall and Andrew Poole are going to be on the receiving end of drama from the other guys, which makes this the most competitive (and therefore the most interesting) hour of “The Bachelorette” that we have seen to date.

Now, let’s get to where we think the top contenders stand.

5. Brian Osbourne – There have been glimpses of something between him and Andi, but he also has been very “I’m nervous because I’m an educator on TV.” Not always a good mix.

4. JJ O’Brien – His date was silly, but he is the token “fun guy” who may get a hometown date or a spot in the final three just based on a little bit of his history with her.

3. Chris Soules – There is a connection there, but Chris feels like the forgotten man right now thanks mostly to the fact that he hasn’t spent much time with Andi lately.

2. Josh Murray – Tonight will be the biggest test for Josh, given that he hasn’t had a one-on-one date just yet. But so far, it feels like their connection is amazing given what little time they have spent together.

1. Nick Viall – His cockiness is troubling, but so far he has the relationship to back it up. Remember that Courtney Robertson won her season, and did so despite only a few people on the show really liking her outside of Ben Flajnik.
