‘The Bachelorette’: Andi Dorfman sent Eric Hill’s family letter after death

Andi Dorfman -While it is very easy to be cynical about Andi Dorfman and to mock “The Bachelorette” for its overall feeling of silliness, there is some news coming out now that does make you want to give her a little bit more credit than most of the tabloids do that she does care about more than just the show, but also some of the people that were on it.

Speaking in a new interview with Life & Style, the late Eric Hill’s sister Karen Tracey claims that the family did receive a “very thoughtful letter” from Andi after she found out the news of his death, and she shared some of her experiences that she had with him, including the first date that she shared.

One of the reasons that we give Andi credit for this is that this is not something that she sent over to the press and made a big deal about; if it were not for Tracey saying this now, it is very well possible that we would not have known about it at all. Also, you have to remember that she and Eric did not exactly end things on great terms, as he insinuated that she was being more of an “actress” rather than just a real person during some of her time with him.

“The Bachelorette” will for sure reference Eric at least one more time this season, as he will be a part of the discussion during “The Men Tell All.” It is not clear yet if the editors are going to address the final contestants learning about his passing (as it occurred just after hometown dates).
