‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 spoilers: A tiny (but welcome) tease from Jaime King

“Hart of Dixie” season 4 is a long ways away from premiering on The CW, so you might as well go ahead and expect that now. The show was not on the fall schedule, and it may be early 2015 before some of these episodes start to see the light of day.

However, the show may be one of the earliest to start back production thanks to a few interesting twists. Due to Rachel Bilson’s pregnancy, the show will be trying to get in some of its new episodes done quickly, and then take a longer hiatus on the back end. If there is a season 5, there will most-likely be a pretty long production break in between.

Most of what we expect from the episodes ahead can be taken from the events that happened on last season’s finale, in between Zoe trying her hardest to prove to Wade that a romance between the two of them can work, and also Lemon finding herself in a familiar position with Lavon and George Tucker both fighting for her love. This should make for a lot of fun for Jaime King, and she certainly seems to agree.

Writing in a post on Twitter in response to a fan, King claimed that the “coming season is insane,” and we’ll have to take her word for it given that she must have been told at least something about where the story is going. We expect competition with the guys and plenty of romantic hijinks, which is really one of the things that the show does best. We know that the series considers itself more of a romantic comedy at its heart than anything, or at least we feel that way given that Bilson submitted for the comedy category at the Emmys.
