’30 Rock’ alum Tracy Morgan’s condition improving, but still in critical condition

Tracy Jordan -There are not many Manager of the Year awards that you hear talked about, but if there was you have to think that the representatives for Tracy Morgan would deserve some recognition over how they are handling his hospitalization after the difficult and fatal crash that took the life of comedy writer James McNair. The updates that we’ve received are always official, thorough, and extremely professional and thought-out.

In the latest one, there is some good light shed on the former “30 Rock” star’s condition, even if there is a reminder that there is still a lengthy recovery ahead based on reports from his doctors. Not only that, but there is also another update on one of the other men who was hospitalized in the wake of the crash:

“Today was a better day. While Tracy remains in critical, but stable, condition, he continues to show signs of improvement. His medical team remains optimistic that his recovery is progressing. [Fiancee] Megan remains by his side and is relaying the countless good wishes and prayers that his family, friends and fans have been sending their way. In addition, Jeff [Millea]‘s wife asked us to pass along that Jeff has also shown much improvement over the past few days. She is very thankful for the love and support she and their family continue to receive.”

Truck Driver Kevin Roper appeared in court earlier this week and plead not guilty to charges of Death by Auto and others, and has stated that the crash was simply an unfortunate accident, and that his current position is strictly as a result of the status of the people who were involved.

Of course, we will continue to share further updates on Tracy’s condition as time passes, but for the time being it appears that there is reason to be hopeful that he will be able to someday get back to doing what he loves. FXX has said already that there will be a spot at his upcoming show waiting for him.
