‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Continued plot lines and ‘Mad Men’ comparisons

The latest -Are you as anxious as we are for the return of “The Good Wife“? The cast may not be back to work just yet, but we are still getting an opportunity to find out a little more about some of the things that the writers are currently discussing and preparing for.

One story in particular that will be continuing onward for the sixth season is one that probably did not receive its full due during the season 5 finale and after the fact: Megan Ketch’s Deena. Her story, and also the story of her business, is something that played out in spurts, and is going to return as the conflicts between the future of Diane and also Florrick/Argos continue to rise. This is something that executive producer Robert King does his best to address in a new interview with TVLine:

“[Ketch] is very good, and we’re getting her back early next year. So, you’re going to find [the fight for Chumhum’s business] is a continuing plot line. What Lucky Strike was to Mad Men, Chumhum is to us.”

At the end of the day, though, there are certainly going to be many story threats for this season that are probably not even on our mind right now. That is one of the most glorious things about where the show is at, at least in there there is still potential to do so many great things just based on the characters, and while we are forever going to miss Will as a part of the show, his death does open up some floodgates.
