‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2: One of Abbie’s major storylines

For all who are fans of “Sleepy Hollow,” we are still well aware that the wait for new episodes is a long one. September 22 is the premiere date, but the silver lining here somewhat is that thanks to the show starting a little earlier than most others, we have had a little more of an opportunity to learn about a few things that are coming down the pipeline.

With that in mind, we’re glad to be able to share at least a few details on what is going on with Abbie. When we last saw the character, it is pretty fare to say that she was in a terrible spot. She had no one who was able to help her, and was trapped in the same purgatory that held Katrina captive for a very long time. It’s certainly possible that she finds her way out of there eventually, but when she does, there may be some things on her mind that you do not entirely expect. This is at least based on executive producer Heather Kadin’s comments to TV Guide, where she had the following to say about her story:

“Abbie’s story this year really has to do with the relationship with her mother and a lot she didn’t know about as a child.”

This could end up being very interesting, and thanks mostly to the fact that the only real attention given to Abbie’s past the first season was tied in some way to Moloch. Maybe there is a deeper connection between her lineage and this villain, but if there is we don’t quite know it yet.
