‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 spoilers: Robert Kirkman on possible deaths, new characters

More news -Are you ready to dive back into the world of “The Walking Dead“? Even though you may be, the reality of the situation right now is that you’re going to be waiting for quite a while to get some new episodes on AMC.

So until that time, the only thing that could tide you over are a few trailers coming later this summer, and also some occasional scoop on casting or the story. Robert Kirkman recently did an interview with The Hollywood Reporter previewing his new work “Outcast,” and while he was just as coy as always (not even wanting to confirm who Seth Gilliam will be playing), he did talk the possibility of a major death coming early in the fifth season:

“It’s always highly likely, though I wouldn’t say that it’s any more likely than it ever is, but it is always extremely likely. We did pull back on the reins a little bit at the end of season four. We’re definitely going to hit the ground running for season five and we really don’t let up very quickly at all. It’s going to be a pretty fast-paced, intense season.”

Season 5 is currently filming in Atlanta, and Kirkman teased that there could be more casting announcements coming in the months ahead. If they do, though, we very well do expect them to be similar to Gilliam in that the show will reveal that an actor is joining the show, but may not be so keen on telling you who they are going to play.

Who do you think is the most likely to die out of the significant characters?
