‘Mistresses’ season 2, episode 3 preview: April’s party and more

Who doesn’t love parties? When you are watching a reality show, these are often some of the best episodes out there since they combine comedy with just enough insanity to really get your blood pumping about what could be coming up next.

So can “Mistresses” create that feeling and make it better? Since there is an actual script here and people who can act, we’re betting on it and then some. The third episode of the season airing next week is entitled “Open House,” and based on what we have in the synopsis below, life is not going to be a party for everyone involved here:

“Joss is caught in the middle as mediator when Savi and Harry – still not talking to each other — clash over selling their home. Back at the office, Toni (guest star Rebeka Montoya) continues to be a thorn in Savi’s side. When April learns she has to throw a lavish party for the parents at Lucy’s expensive new private school, it’s Mickey (guest star Joseph May) to the rescue with a bash that no one will soon forget.”

This is the point in the season where things should really start heating up, so let’s hope that this actually happens and we get a series of episodes ahead that give us everything that we could possibly want and then some. Also, can we have things move forward with Savi? We  just want to see most of these complications over since it clearly feels like there are plenty of other dramatic things to come from her.
