‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final: Cheryl Cole to premiere ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ on results show

More news -ITV is turning the “Britain’s Got Talent” final on Saturday into quite the event, and that includes bringing out one of their returning TV stars to give “The X Factor” a little bit of a shot in the arm in advance: Cheryl Cole.

The former judge, who was convinced to sign a new deal by Simon Cowell after years away and a failed attempt in America to be a star there, will return to the network today with a performance of new single “Crazy Stupid Love” during the results show. This is Simon ensuring that Cheryl is in the spotlight again, and it is a nice little reminder that the singing competition is coming up later this year. “The X Factor” was at one point a monster in the UK with Simon and Cheryl on the panel together, and the two are both returning this year to turn things around. While we enjoyed the panel with Gary Barlow and Sharon Osbourne on it very much, some others seemed to not be nearly as keen.

We expect the show to make an enormous production out of Cheryl’s performance while we await the results of the voting tonight. We already ranked some of the favorites, and it seems to us like the race is going to be between magician Darcy Oake, singer / rapper duo Bars & Melody, and group Jack Pack to take the grand prize. However, the one thing that we’ve learned about this series over the years is that thanks to the unique format of having so few live shows with acts competing alongside each other, it is very difficult to know which ones are favored over others.

Excited to see the final tonight, and to see Cheryl’s performance? Share below, and head over here to see some further updates that are worth a song or two via email.
