‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4: What former star has scored new gig?

Once -While it may be a bummer that we no longer have Michael Raymond-James to enjoy on ABC’s “Once Upon a Time,” we still have some pretty nice news to report here: The man at least has secured another nice TV deal for himself.

Sources confirm that the actor, who has also been featured on some other great shows including “True Blood” and “Terriers,” has signed up for the new History miniseries “Sons of Liberty,” where he is going to play Paul Revere (quite the legendary figure, no?). This project has quite a great cast attached to it, which in part includes Dean Norris (“Breaking Bad”) as Benjamin Franklin and Ryan Eggold (“The Blacklist”) as Joseph Warren. How are some of these people with other jobs able to do this? The miniseries is filming this summer, so they will have some time available while still being able to be prepared properly for when the next show premieres a little bit later.

Hopefully, all of this work leads to Raymond-James getting another project soon where he can flex his considerable acting muscles, and also not have one of his characters killed off for a change. We though that doesn’t happen with all of them, but because of the high-profile nature of “True Blood” and “Once Upon a Time,” he is now Sean Bean all over again. We do feel like it is possible that he resurfaces on the ABC drama again at some point; even if he is dead, the return appearance from Jamie Dornan as Sheriff Graham proved that there is still a place in flashbacks.
