‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Josh Murray, Eric Hill, and Andi Dorfman standings
This “Bachelorette” article previewing tonight’s episode is a little bit of a two-parter in that we’ll start things out here by teasing the episode tonight, and then go into what is going to be a recurring feature on CarterMatt: Rankings!
The easy way to describe this episode is as such: Andi will have a romantic-sounding date with Nick Viall, a more comical one with J.J. O’Brien, and then take a number of the guys on a group date in Santa Barbara that is going to feature an appearance from none other than Boyz II Men. Then appropriately, the end of the road will be here for a few contestants at the end.
We’re doing the rankings a little bit differently this year; rather than trying to analyze who we feel are the top contenders, we’re trying to put ourselves in the head of the Bachelorette herself to figure out who some of her favorites were at this point in the season. For example, even if we know now that Eric Hill is no longer with us, we feel like there is a certain amount of value in recognizing the connection that he and Andi had at the time.
5. Josh Murray – After being very concerned about him early on in the season, Josh made a big play with Andi on this past episode. Suddenly, she may be taking him much more seriously than she first intended to.
4. Marcus Grodd – Getting the group date rose early on is a big feat, even if it feels like he got it mostly for dancing around with his clothes off.
3. Chris Soules – They may not have had the most invigorating one-on-one date that we’ve seen, but a date at this point is still a date. Chris is a contender.
2. Eric Hill – These two had a very sweet date, and we feel like that had to resonate with Andi. She may have been worried about his frequent traveling in the future, but not enough to keep her from giving him a rose.
1. Nick Viall – We’re still going to claim that the man she gave the First Impression Rose to is at the top, even if he didn’t have much time with her this past week. She was obviously confident enough with him that she didn’t have to worry about some time apart.
