‘Falling Skies’ season 4 spoilers: First details on shocking premiere

“Falling Skies” is one of many summer shows that is getting ready to start, but why wait until June 22 to figure out what is going to happen? We’re here with some of the first details on the next premiere, which will hopefully also lead to answers in regards to those mysterious aliens that showed up at the end of last season.

This episode is entitled “Ghost in the Machine,” and there is definitely an “of course they’re not really safe” feeling about this one. Right when Tom and the rest of the 2nd Mass starts to feel like they have made it to a place where no harm will come of them, something arises and throws a wrench into the plans. Just look at the full synopsis below:

“On the outskirts of Charleston, just steps away from perceived safety, The Mason Clan and the remaining 2nd Mass suddenly find themselves under brutal attack by a new Espheni war machine – and a new, deadly creation unlike anything previously encountered. Divided like chattel and spread to the winds, The Masons must each forge new relationships and abilities to survive.”

In a way, we sense a return to season 1 form with this episode and what comes after it. You’ve gone from the humans being able to understand most of everything to being left in the dark again, and that is a pretty difficult situation to be in. If nothing else, at least they can feel like they’ve been through this before. Everyone is battle-tested, and maybe it will turn out that the new arrivals are more helpful than hurtful. (Then again, it’s better to not be that optimistic when it comes to this show.)
