NBC’s ‘The Voice’ notes: Christina Grimmie, Tessanne Chin, and James Wolpert

The latest -Even though there are no new episodes of “The Voice” on at the moment, that doesn’t mean that the wheels have stopped turning for some of the alumni from the show. We’ll have a few assorted updates coming up throughout the summer, so be sure to be on the lookout for more of these as time passes.

Christina Grimmie – Let’s start with Christina from this season, who says in a post on Twitter that she is already working on some new music. Grimmie was told on the finale that her coach Adam Levine was going to sign her to his label, and there is no reason to believe that anything other than this will happen.

As for when new music could come out, the sweet spot would be the fall. That is when the most albums and music are purchased, and there is “The Voice” waiting as a platform for you to perform your music.

Tessanne Chin – Speaking of albums, the season 5 champion is getting closer and closer to having her own come out. As she said on her own social-media page, she has just seen the cover art for her own June 24 release. Hopefully, she will have a chance to get some promotion on some of NBC’s summer programs or “Today’s” concert series.

James Wolpert – Want to help James make an album? Then head over to his Kickstarter page, where he is raising money to make a record. There are some nice incentives on there to prove just how serious this guy is about making this happen. (We’ve also enclosed his video for the campaign below, in case you want extra motivation to donate.)
