NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ season 3 spoilers: When will you learn Will Graham’s fate?

You are going to be waiting until 2015 to find out the fate of some of your favorite “Hannibal” characters, and we’ve also found out now that you may even be waiting after the new season premieres. Basically, let’s hope that you are the patient type.

Speaking at a screening for the show Wednesday night, executive producer Bryan Fuller said (per Deadline) that it may not be until the second or third episode of the season until you find out what happened to Will. What is the reason for that? The premiere is going to reportedly put most of its attention on Dr. Bedelia du Maurier, the therapist who we first got to know throughout the past several weeks prior to it being revealed that she onboard an airplane with Hannibal at the end of the finale.

This little nugget of information should be confirmation to you that Gillian Anderson will be returning to the show in some capacity, though whether or not she is a regular is still to be determined. Even though the fate of Will in quite a cliffhanger, it’s really not so bad when you remember that Fuller and star Hugh Dancy have already hinted strongly that Will is going to return to the show for more. The same conceivably goes for Jack Crawford, though there are still things that have to be worked out when it comes to his busy schedule. The character whose status is perhaps the most unclear right now is Alana Bloom, who plummeted to her doom in the finale thanks to Abigail Hobbs.
